Michael Klaper, M.D.
Michael A. Klaper, M.D. graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, and practiced acute care medicine in Canada, Hawaii, Florida and New Zealand. His practice now focuses on healthy food and lifestyle choices to help people stay out of hospitals and off operating tables. He has served as nutrition advisor to NASA’s programs for space colonists on the Moon and Mars, on the Nutrition Task Force of the American Medical Students Association and was the Scientific Director of the environmental organization, EarthSave.
A pilot, long-time radio host and author, Dr. Klaper currently serves as Director of the Moving Medicine Forward Initiative teaching young medical students about the importance of their patients’ diet as the cause – and cure – of most of the diseases they treat.
